I had an appointment for hair cut .. this might be sixth time we are visiting Charles Penzone Polaris . No one ever informed me about policy that we are not supposed to take our kids who are below 9 years. Past six times nobody had informed about it .. finally I had to cancel my appointment and go to different salon. We are really disappointed about this.

She was incredibly rude and demeaning, and made me feel terrible the whole time that I didn’t like the result of the service I had prior to seeing her. I have never felt so uneasy and uncomfortable in a salon as I did today with her. AGAIN, I left with my hair looking nothing like what I wanted it to look like; not even similar.

I normally visit the Dublin salon and would rate it a 5, however my recent visit to the Polaris salon was less than satisfactory. I wasn’t checked in correctly by the front desk attendant, so my second appointment almost didn’t happen. During my appointment, I overheard other salon professionals talking about clients in a way I would prefer not to be talked about. It was at that point I thought to myself, why am I paying so much money for this? CP has really gone downhill. I’ve had better experiences in random mall salons. Upon checking out, the same front desk person apparently only charged me for one service, of which I was unaware (ironically the only service he successfully checked me in for...) so I received an inconvenient late-night call asking for my credit card number. I’m thinking, I’m sorry what? I was being told I hadn’t paid, which I had - just apparently not for all of the services. Due to the lack of commitment to do the job correctly, this mistake was somehow my emergency. I paid and I’m not trying to get anything for free, and the salon professionals that I worked with during that visit were wonderful. But, it is the support staff and management that make or break the special atmosphere this salon used to have. I’m sorry, but I won’t be back. I’m not willing to pay that much for such a low quality operation.

I was charged $200 for a “balayage” that was not a balayage whatsoever. Instead, I was given partial blonde streaky highlights on the under-layer of my deep brunette hair… and I was robbed about $100 for the discrepancy in the service. What makes it worse, is that I came very prepared with photos of exactly what I wanted, and the stylist said she could absolutely do it. I trusted her since I chose to pay top dollar for one of the highest levels of stylists. Fail. Being very unsatisfied with this visit, and being let down by the stylist, I called the salon to get my hair fixed.

Great experience! Great service versus chain salons.

I will absolutely never bring my service back to this salon and will deter any and all of my friends/family. Way overpriced, and they failed to deliver the simple service I went in for twice. Thanks for a waste of time and waste of money, Charles Penzone!

First time ever going and walked out with a hack job haircut. Think I could have done better at great clips for a fraction of the cost. I even paid extra for a stylist that had more experience and for curly hair. Ugh

The next appointment sounded very promising, and the receptionist told me they could correct what was done wrong free of charge. So I went into my SECOND appointment to lighten up my hair, and was rudely greeted by my new stylist. I figured she was being so blatantly rude because I was not paying for her service (even though I intended on tipping her afterward.) She combatted everything I showed her/told her; so much to the point that it literally brought me to tears in her chair.
